a skin tone I actually have if I go outside in the summer . It's only a few shades darker than my current color, and I've been BROWN in the past from doing outside activities. It's not brownface or blackface unless you're ridiculing another race. This is cosplay. Please take these silly opinions somewhere else, you are not going to persuade me on this topic. This is my skin tone too.
yeah? and when I wear makeup or bronzer to look more tan I'm STILL the same race. I'm not stealing anyone's race or pretending to be another race. The color I use for Katara, I can be naturally, so what exactly is the problem?????
Aw man, envy! We didn't get water-activated anything when I was in high school; they just slapped regular old makeup on us. Foundation caked all over the skin to make us look darker or lighter or older, all oil-based. It took bloody forever to get it scrubbed off after the play, and the _eyeliner_, oh god, I looked like an Egyptian whore for days. D:
I presume that by now they're using such stuff as this magical "costume makeup." We had kind of a low-budget approach to fine arts at that school at the time. :T
