The puffy frill on the edges of the skirt, gloves, and boots came out beautifully. Was it hard to work with? And at the risk of sounding repetitive, you really do look your most gorgeous in this outfit. That smile and look you're giving the camera made for a great photo.
Awww you guys both look so pretty! Great job as usual.
Btw props to you for sticking up for your friend. I hope her feelings don't get hurt by that ignoramus's comment because she is gorgeous and so are you. You have such a sweet heart and I respect you so much.
It looks like it! I'd be surprised if you didn't have a headache afterward (okay, I have a very sensitive head and neck. Anything heavy or tight on my poor head or neck and I get a headache.)
On the upside, it is very cute. Maybe there's a way for you to lighten it up, but not lose the volume. You could try pin curling (not the whole pony, mind you, or you'll end up with a poodle wig.) I have very fine, fragile hair (but unlike most, I have a ton of it which means I have flat hair) and when I want volume and curls that stay, I pin curl or wrap curl them with fabric. Pin curls make Shirley Temple curls that can be manipulated to that kind of curl with patience; wrap curls, depending which technique you use (there's "Irish" wrap curling and regular wrap curls) make straight down spiral curls or regular curls. That might allow you to take out some hair. It's just an idea.
not so much a headache, but it's uncomfortable while wearing it if it pulls back! I also can't move my head too much haha. Yeah maybe if I teased it or something to give me volume that might work, I have to play around with it a little bit. I think I need to add more combs or something to keep it up
I just have a very sensitive head, so headaches with hair accessories are commonplace. I can't wear a headband actually because I find them too tight behind my ears (they leave deep impressions.) I usually wear scarves for headbands.
I thought pin curls because they poof a little when brushed out but the curl goes towards the bottom. There's a thousand things you can try though.
sometimes that happens to me too, but it rarely happens with wigs. This wig is HUGE also lol! Wig/synthetic hair is different from real hair though, so the pin curls thing might end up not doing anything
Haha. I am well aware of the fact that you are awesome. I've been following your costuming adventures for some time now!
That guy is unbelievable though. Glancing at his other comments, I want to just find the guy and punch him in the jaw. Gotta wonder about a person who goes around peddling that kind of bile to strangers. But oh well, I guess that's the internet for ya. Don't let him reduce your (or your friend's) enthusiasm at all!
you didn't mean it to be rude? how was it supposed to be, then? Just because it's the internet doesn't mean you can say whatever the hell you want. Adding "no offense" to something doesn't negate the fact that you're saying something offensive. Don't go off about how it's "just your opinion". If you have that as an opinion you can keep it to yourself because I can sure tell you insulting my friends is a guaranteed way to get me pissed off at you. And I'm not going to just "ignore" someone insulting my friend. I'm going to tell them what for because that's EXACTLY what a good friend does. I also don't need your permission to delete your shitty dribble from my photo.
Sorry for interfering but I think is the most stupid thing that I read here. I know that is none of my business but I have to say looks so feminine and pretty in this picture. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that think this. You're only a bored troll. They BOTH are very beautiful, so your arguments are a shit. Go to flame to another site.
LOL!! Are you an idiot? I'm not a shallow bitch and I'm friends with her because I love her. I don't need to befriend people based on their looks and how their looks make me feel. Go outside. Make some friends.
